Charles Henry Ironmonger 1940
It's up and Running...

Well, the web site is up and running. The presentation of the information once we have it is the relatively easy part. Collecting, making sense of and getting the data into the system in some sort of organized way takes a lot more time.
We have 7 generations of people with the Ironmonger name and 8 generations of one other branch of the family cataloged and in the system. Some of the 7 generations will not be shown on the family tree pages as they are still alive. In today's data driven, not always honest environment, information pertaining to live family members will not be displayed due to privacy considerations.
Collection continues and contact with our relations in other countries is providing many new avenues for information.
Charles Henry Ironmonger (shown) was the first of the Ironmongers to immigrate to Western Australia, arriving in 1922. There are other branches of the Ironmonger family that immigrated to Queensland and Victoria. While there is a chance, with a not so common name like Ironmonger, that these people are related, it is yet to be proven.
I would love to hear from any other Ironmongers or people with Ironmongers in their family that are documenting their family history or have some family history they just want to hand over to someone. Please use the contact button to send me a message or leave a comment on this article.
Check back for updates soon.
